Youth Villages works tirelessly to help some of Massachusetts’ most vulnerable children and young adults with serious emotional and behavioral challenges and their families live successfully. A cornerstone of Youth Villages’ success is our ability to nurture positive social experiences that build confidence and reward our youth for their accomplishments.
The majority of the families we work with live below the poverty line. For families who often have trouble meeting even their basic needs, attending a summer camp or joining a sports league is simply not a financial option. Yet, we know that participation in these types of activities is critical to each child’s success. All funds raised through Youth Villages' 2nd Annual Baggo Tournament, "It’s in the Bag!" will be used to help struggling families and young adults in our programs afford extracurricular activities.
