The 3.1 mile course winds downhill through a scenic East Memphis neighborhood and Ridgeway Center. It is an excellent course whether you are a walker or runner.

To get an official race time and be included in results, participants MUST wear a race chip. The ChampionChip technology allows for precision and timing accuracy in road racing performance. Race Chip pickup is on race day ONLY (7:30 a.m. - 8:30 a.m.). No chips will be available for those who register after 8:30 a.m. on race day. NOTE: There will be a $30 fee for any rental chip not returned. The Memphis Runners Track Club (MRTC) administers the finish line and publishes overall race results. Parking is readily available entering Ridgeway Center from Poplar Avenue. No roller blades, bicycles, or DOGS allowed in the Youth Villages 5K.
